New Delhi, March 22 (Delhi Crown): Two dead bodies were found floating inside a drain in Delhi’s posh Lodhi Estate area near the India International Centre (IIC) on Tuesday, confirmed a top official of the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).

The identity of the dead persons is yet to be ascertained as the bodies are “highly bloated”, said the official.

“Two bodies found, but It is not clear who are they, the body is floating and highly bloated,” he added.

The DFS was alerted by a phone call at around 1824 hours on Tuesday about the falling of two persons in the drain near Bungalow No 57 of Lodhi Estate colony which houses Members of Parliament, VVIPs, judges, top defence personnel etc.

“Total 3 fire tenders were rushed to the site and the dead bodies were retrieved from the drain,” said the DFS’ top official.
