Four lady robbers nabbed in South-West Delhi
All accused residents of A-2 block of Dharampura near Najafgarh
New Delhi, March 23 (Delhi Crown): Four desperate lady robbers have been nabbed by the Delhi Police for allegedly robbing a man of Rs 2000 on Tuesday, in the early hours of the day by overpowering him while he was commuting in the area on motorcycle.
All the four accused are residents of A-2 Block of Dharampura area, near Najafgarh. All of them are close neighbours. Two among them are said to be habitual criminals as several cases are lodged against them in various police stations in West and South-West parts of Delhi.
The accused have been identified as Babli Mausam (50), Asha (30), Manisha (25) and Muskan (25).
Giving details, a cop posted with the Dwarka District Police said that on Tuesday at around 5.10 a.m. the four ladies waylaid one Kapil Kumar (25), a resident of Mohan Garden area of Uttam Nagar, while he was going on his bike towards Najafgarh from Dwarka Mor.
“One lady signalled him to stop. He stopped the motorcycle and saw that three more ladies were also standing beside her. While one of them tried to snatch the key of his motorcycle, another one hit him on the head. They assaulted him and robbed him of Rs. 2000,” said the cop.
On the victim’s complaint, an FIR was registered as Mohan Garden Police Station. A police team was comprised and with concerted efforts all the four lady robbers were nabbed from the nearby jungle/shrubs.
They admitted to committing the crime and the money (Rs 2000) looted by them was recovered from their possession.
