Bike stolen from Mahavir Enclave recovered

New Delhi, Dec. 3 (Delhi Crown): The Dabri Police on Friday claimed to have nabbed a motor-cycle lifter from the Chankya Place area along with a bike which was stolen in February.

On interrogation, it was found that the accused was a habitual offender and involved in eight similar cases.

The accused has been identified as Jamal (18 years), a resident of Chankya Place, Part 1 Dabri.

According to a local cop, on Thursday (Dec. 2) the beat staff of Dabri Police Station, including Constables Jagbir, Sahil and Muniraj were on area patrolling when they reached the 25-Foota Road in Chankya Place and saw a boy coming on a Motorcycle.

The cops signalled him to stop, but he tried to escape by over-speeding. Due to the alertness of the beat staff, he was stopped & caught hold of.

On being asked about the reason for trying to escape and the documents of the Motorcycle, he failed to tell anything. When the Vehicle Scan Portal of the motorcycle was checked, it was found that the Motorcycle was stolen on Feb 7, 2021 from near Mahavir Enclave Part III.
