Kids had gone missing from Samta Enclave, Goyla Dairy

New Delhi, Dec. 3 (Delhi Crown): The Chhawla Police on Friday claimed to have recovered two minor children, one aged 3 years and the other 5 years, within 2 hours of them gone missing.

According to DCP Dwarka Shankar Choudhary, a PCR call was received on Thursday (Dec 2) about two children gone missing from Samta Enclave, Goyla Dairy.

The case (Daily Diary) was registered and handed over to Head Constable Ombir. Intense search was carried out in the area with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity.

“Information was circulated to all Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) of the area. With the help of active RWA members and alert staff, both the missing children were recovered within two hours and handed over to their parents under the Milap Scheme,” said DCP Choudhary.

It was not disclosed by the DCP if both the children went missing on their own or it was a case of abduction.

A statement released by the DCP read – “Good work done by the staff of Police Station Chhawla.”
