New Delhi, Nov. 8 (Delhi Crown): Several local residents, mostly ladies, in South-West Delhi’s Issapur Ward (Number 45-S) littered their house garbage on a road-crossing on Monday as a mark of protest against their MCD Councillor for purposely not letting the MCD Van to collect their house garbage.

They also accused the local Councillor for not letting the MCD workers clean the drains in their street for over a month.

The MCD ward is represented by BJP Municipal Councillor Suman Dagar.

Shouted slogans against the lady Councillor, the protesting women alleged that Suman Dagar was forcibly stopping the MCD Van driver from collecting house waste from their street for some “personal reasons”.

The protest was carried out at village Ujwa which falls in Issapur Ward (Number 45-S).

Kanta Devi, one the women protesters, told a local YouTube channel “Badlav ki Or” that Suman Dagar was behind stopping the garbage collecting van from coming to their street as she has some personal enmity with Manoj Chotiwala who also resides in the same street.

“A day before Diwali a MCD Van had just arrived in our street to collect garbage/waste, and Suman Dagar called up the Van driver directing him not to collect the house waste from this particular street,” added an enraged looking Kanta.

Other women protesting against Suman Dagar also accused her of neglecting their residential area for regular cleaning.

“The Delhi Crown” made several attempts to contact Suman Dagar to evoke her response. Initially she refused to comment, but later completely denied of any such protests in her Ward.
