Two-wheeler thief nabbed in Mohan Garden
One Scooty, 2 Motorcycles recovered
New Delhi, Dec. 11 (Delhi Crown): The Mohan Garden Police arrested a habitual auto-lifter and recovered one Scooty and two motorcycles from his possession, said Dwarka DCP Shankar Choudhary on Saturday.
The arrest was done under the ongoing “Operation Varchasav” and strategic patrolling plan.
On December 9 at around 10.00 p.m., during regular patrolling Constable Manoj stopped a Scooty Honda Activa No. DL9SAW 8895 at Poswal Chowk in Mohan Garden which was driven by one Javed (26), a resident of Sainik Enclave, Sector 5, Mohan Garden.
On checking the documents, the two-wheeler was found stolen.
Javed was subsequently arrested and on further interrogation two more stolen Motorcycles were recovered from his possession.
During further interrogation, the accused disclosed that he has also stolen Water Motors & water meters from the area of Mohan Garden. He was previously involved in 25 more cases of theft since 2017, said DP Choudhary.
