Two Muslim youths issue video-threat to kill Indian PM Modi
New Delhi, June 28 (Delhi Crown): Two Muslim youths – Mohammad Riyaz Akhtari and Khof Mohammad, are seen in a video, that has gone viral in India on various social media platforms, issuing a chilling threat to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi by beheading him.
According to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the duo was arrested from Rajsamand area, around 60 kilometres away from Udaipur where they had killed a Hindu on Tuesday (June 28) after the latter’s son had written a post on a social media platform supporting Nupur Sharma, the suspended BJP leader who had made some “adverse comments” regarding Prophet Mohammad earlier this month.
In the video one of the two youths stated that Modi had “lit the fire”, and that they will douse it. The two are seen in the video flashing two big sized knives.
While one keeps smiling, the other continues to say – “Modi, I wish this knife reaches your neck.”
The video was apparently made after the two bearded youths wearing skull-caps had killed a tailor belonging to the Hindu community, in broad-daylight in a market area of Udaipur and then fled from the crime scene.
Following the gory crime, Internet services were snapped in Udaipur till Wednesday. Tension is learnt to have gripped the town, which is a popular destination in the country, even as a large number of gathered on roads and streets to protest against the gruesome killing of the tailor.
