No one injured, one arrested

New Delhi, Nov. 28 (Delhi Crown): Two groups of people clashed at an area on Matiala road under the Bindapur Police Station, over installation of a board reading “Church” at a warehouse.

According Dwarka DCP Shankar Choudhary, some people had gathered at a warehouse where they had put a board displaying the word “Church”. Local residents objected to it, alleging that it was done clandestinely.

“In this quarrel some local miscreants tried to vitiate the atmosphere by vandalising the said board,” said the DCP in a statement.

On receiving a call, the local reached the spot, and soon the local miscreants ran away.

Cases have been registered against both the groups under appropriate sections of IPC. No one was injured in the quarrel.

“One local miscreant has also been arrested. Investigation is on,” added the DCP.
