Two Bihar natives held near Delhi’s Jharoda Kalan village with 54 kg ‘Ganja’
Duo wanted to earn easy money to buy a house in Patna
New Delhi, Jan. 5 (Delhi Crown): Two persons hailing from Bihar were arrested from Jharoda Kalan Extension Colony by the Dwarka District Police for allegedly supplying over 54 kg “Ganja” from Patna.
The duo had a dream of buying a house in Patna, and thus took to the illegal activity to earn easy money.
They have been identified as Kundan Kumar (22) Vikas Kumar alias Rohit S/o Ramesh (23), both residents of village Nawabganj in Patna district.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Vikash Yadav had on Jan. 3 received a secret information that two persons indulged in Gaanja supply in Delhi from Patna were coming to Jharoda Kalan Extension Colony with a huge quantity of “Ganja”.
Accordingly, a dedicated team led by Inspector Kamlesh Kumar, SI Vikash Yadav, woman Sub-Inspector Saroj Singh, Head Constables Jitender, Jagat and Amit was constituted and deployed under the supervision of ACP Vijay Singh Yadav.
A trap was laid and the two accused coming from Jharoda Village side to Jharoda Extension Colony, with two trolley bags, were nabbed from spot. The trolley bags contained over 54 kg “Ganja”.
Subsequently, a police case was registered at the Baba HariDas Nagar Police Station and further investigation was taken up.
