Say none from the builder company or the CM visited them even after 3 days

Gurugram, Feb. 13 (Delhi Crown): Resentment is brewing among residents of Gurugram Sector-109’s Chintels Paradiso housing society, who are agitated at the fact that no one from the builder’s site reached out to them even after three days had passed since the mishap took place claiming two lives.

Roof of a flat at the sixth floor of Tower-D of the housing society had collapsed on Thursday evening leading to a series of similar collapses down below till the first floor, killing two women and trapping many under the debris.

On Sunday, a large number of people gathered at the society’s lawns and protested against the callous attitude of the builders.

Besides, there is also high resentment among the residents about the attitude of the administration and the state government.

They also complained that Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar hasn’t visited their housing society yet despite such a big mishap taking place.

On Sunday afternoon, Haryana’s Additional Chief Secretary Devendra Singh reached the society and interacted with the people. The people made him aware of their complaints (against the builder), and demanded that the builder and those responsible for the accident should be acted upon at the earliest.

During the day people also paid tributes to the deceased Sunita Srivastava, whose dead body was retrieved from under the debris late on Saturday night after over two days.
