Para-athlete Vikas Dagar appointed as SDMC’s brand ambassador
Dagar belongs to Malikpur village of South-West Delhi
New Delhi, Dec. 9 (Delhi Crown): The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) on Thursday appointed Para-athlete Vikas Dagar as its brand ambassador for the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
This is an attempt to spread awareness in SDMC area about cleanliness, according to an SDMC official.
“Dagar has been engaged as brand ambassador for SDMC in the ongoing Swachh Survekshan, 2022,” said an official notification signed by Nodal Officer, SDMC, Awanish Kumar (IAS).
Speaking to www.thedelhicrown.com, Dagar thanked the SDMC for his appointment as its brand ambassador.
Vikas Dagar has so far won 22 international medals and 14 national medals. Besides he was also bestowed with the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Award.
Earlier, the South-West Delhi Election Commission had also appointed him as its icon.
