One nabbed for stealing mobile phones, cash from a truck on KMP Expressway

Gurugram, Feb. 16 (Delhi Crown): A resident of village Bohda Kalan has been arrested by the Gurugram Police for allegedly stealing mobile phones and cash from a truck earlier this month.

According to the police, the accused identified as Mahavir alias Kalu, a resident of village Bohda Kalan, had stolen mobile phones of a truck driver and his helper in the wee hours of Feb. 2, while the duo were sleeping after parking the truck on the roadside due to dense fog.

Cash amounting Rs 38,000 was stolen from the truck, police said.

The incident occurred on the KMP Expressway near Pachgaon village. The truck driver and his helper are residents of Baprola village, near Najafgarh, Delhi.
