Nizamuddin murder accused nabbed in Uttam Nagar
New Delhi, March 16 (Delhi Crown): A person accused of a murder in Hazrat Nizamuddin area on March 9 was nabbed from Uttam Nagar area on March 15, confirmed the Dwarka district police on Thursday.
Accused Wahid alias Wasim was apprehended from B-Block, JJ Colony, Hastsal, Uttam Nagar. During interrogation he disclosed to the police that he along with his friends had stabbed one Atib and his friends Hazrat Nizamuddin.
Atib had got multiple injuries on his neck. After the incident, Wahid fled from the spot and hid here and there to evade his arrest. He came to Uttam Nagar area to meet his relative so that he could get any safe place to hide.
Wahid (22) is said to be a resident of Dildar Nagar Basti, Hazrat Nizamuddin. He was nabbed by a team supervised by ACP Vijay Singh Yadav, and led by Inspector Naveen Kumar Yadav.
During interrogation, Wahid further revealed that his friend Suhail had some dispute with one Atib over his girlfriend. On March 9, he along with Suhail and Noor came to DDA Park, Nizamudeen, where Atib and his friends were also present.
In the park, a hot exchange of words started between Suhail and Atib. During this, he along with Suhail and Noor stabbed Atib and his friends. After that, they fled from the spot.
