Najafgarh Police bust a gambling racket
New Delhi, Feb. 23 (Delhi Crown): The Najafgarh Police have nabbed as many as nine persons for running a gambling racket in Nangli Sakrawati, confirmed a cop on Wednesday.
The accused have been identified as Saabu Khan (28), Sonu (28), Imran (32), Ramjeet (22), Narang Singh Negi (39), Vijay Singh (34), Mohd. Arshad (20), Manoj Kumar (35), and Dharmendra (32), all residents of nearby areas including Nangli Dairy, Nangli Vihar, Rana Enclave,
The gambling racket was being carried out from inside a Jhuggi in Nangli Sakrawati.
After conducting a raid at the spot, the police nabbed the nine accused and recovered 10 mobile phones, cash Rs 13,580, 2 beer canes, four quarters of alcohol, one alcohol bottle, one bike and one Scooty.
All offenders are prosecuted under Gambling Act U/s 107/151 CrPC, said the police.
