New Delhi, Feb. 15 (Delhi Crown): Two boys in their early 20s and residents of Bajrang Enclave, Najafgarh, have been arrested on the charge of snatching a motorcycle from near the Neelkanth Dham on Friday (Feb. 12).

Identified as Kshitiz (24) S/o Kaushal Sharma and Ranjan (20) S/o Ganesh Dass, the duo beat up the owner of the motorcycle and his friend before robbing away the bike.

The victimised owner was admitted at a local hospital as he suffered injuries in the scuffle.

The spot from where the bike was snatched doesn’t have CCTVs installed and the local police had to struggle to reach the two boys who allegedly snatched away the motorcycle.

“It was a challenge to locate the accused persons as there was no clue except their names. The team members made several raids at the hideouts of the accused persons on the basis of technical surveillance and secret information. The sincere efforts yielded the result and two accused were arrested,” said Dwarka District DCP Shankar Chaurdhary in a written statement.
