Mobile phone snatcher nabbed in Deenpur

New Delhi, Dec. 6 (Delhi Crown): The Chhawla Police Station cops on Monday claimed to have arrested a 50-year-old person accused of snatching a mobile phone from a lady in Deenpur area between Chhawla and Najafgarh.

The accused has been identified as Ashok Kumar (50), a resident of village Dakkhana in the Jhajjar district of Haryana.

According to Dwarka DCP Shankar Choudhary, on Sunday (Dec 5) the accused had snatched a mobile phone from a lady who worked at a roadside tea-stall. The incident happened a 2-wheeler showroom, added DCP Choudhary.

Constable Yadram of the Chhawla Police Station, who was present at the spot, nabbed the accused immediately after he heard the lady shouting for help.

The snatched mobile phone was recovered from the accused’s possession following which he was formally arrested.
