New Delhi, Dec. 1 (Delhi Crown): One missing girl, who was a minor when she went missing, has been traced by the Bindapur Police Station police personnel after seven years, confirmed Dwarka District DCP Shankar Choudhary on Wednesday (Dec. 1).

The case related to her missing was registered at the Bindapur Police Station on November 11, 2014.

According to DCP Choudhary, the complainant (name not disclosed) alleged that her sister-in-law (name kept secret) aged 13 was missing/kidnapped from the area of PS Bindapur, Delhi. The investigation of the case was conducted by the different Investigating Officers. 

DCP Choudhary further stated that in June-2021, the case file was assigned to Sub-Inspector Kishore Kumar for further investigation. During the investigation, the major hurdle was that the complainant was also not traceable.

Further, the IO Kishore Kumar along with Constable Mahesh put best efforts to trace out the girl by the enquiring door to door from the local persons. 

“Finally, the efforts of the IO bore fruits and on 30/11/2021, the missing girl was recovered,” added DCP Choudhary without disclosing the details about the accused behind the girl’s missing/kidnapping.
