New Delhi, Jan. 6 (Delhi Crown): The Delhi government has decided to deliver dry ration kits to primary and middle school children at their homes even as the schools continue to remain shut in the wake of sudden Covid surge in the national capital.
An order signed by Section Officer (Mid-Day Meal), Directorate of Education, on Thursday said that all Principals/Heads of Schools and the non-government organisations (NGOs) have been directed to comply and send the report about the same to the Directorate Office.
The decision was taken after a section of media reported that the Education Department was citing logistics for the absence of cooked mid-day meals at Delhi government schools.
