Accused a bad character, had come out of jail barely 2 months back

New Delhi, Jan. 24 (Delhi Crown): A bad character of Dwarka North police station, who had come out of jail barely two months ago, allegedly stabbed his friend after the latter expressed ignorance about his (accused’s) mobile phone.

Identified as Deepak alias Hunny (23), the accused had asked the victim identified as Ajay S/o Ramraksha to give back his mobile, but the latter said that he had not taken his mobile phone.

“At this Deepak took out a knife from his pant and stabbed him in his stomach,” said a cop posted at Dwarka North Police Station.

The alleged attempt to murder took place on the morning of Jan. 19. The accused was arrested on Jan 21 from a Jhuggi in Sector 16A, Dwarka.

Accused Deepak alias Hunny S/o Dharmender is a resident of JJ colony in Sector 16A, Dwarka. He is said to be a school dropout. After leaving school he fell in bad company and started taking drugs and to meet the expenses of drugs he started committing crime.

Accused Deepak was previously involved in 6 cases of theft, burglary and auto lifting. He came back from Tihar jail in the month of Nov. 2021.
