Man kills 66-year-old mother in Gurugram
New Delhi, April 8 (Delhi Crown): In a shocking case, a middle-aged man allegedly killed his 66-year-old mother, stabbing her multiple times with a knife in Shiv Puri area of Gurugram, said the local police on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Veena Kumari, while her son and accused was identified as Manish Bhandari.
Veena’s husband Ranvir Kumar Bhandari lodged a police complaint at the local police station against his son for the alleged crime.
Manish Bhandari is said to be a B-Tec graduate and worked with a private company. He had strained relations with his wife and used to stay alone.
The local police arrested the accused, and during interrogation he revealed that he wanted to bring back his wife and son to his home, but his mother objected to it.
“In a fit of rage, on Thursday (April 7) he attacked his mother with a knife multiple-times. She was rushed to the Civil Hospital, where she was declared brought dead,” said a local cop.
