27.10 gram of contraband drug recovered from her
New Delhi, Dec. 19 (Delhi Crown): The Chhawla Police, in Dwarka Police District, have arrested a middle-aged woman carrying 27.10 gram smack. The arrested woman has been identified as Sumitra Paswan (45) a resident of Goyla dairy.
The accused woman disclosed to the police that she got the smack from a lady namely Sabbo residing somewhere in Sagarpur area of Delhi.
The exact source of supply is yet to be ascertained by the police.
According to Dwarka DCP Shankar Choudhary, on Friday (Dec. 17) evening ASI Ravinder Kumar and woman Constable Sunita were present on a picket-duty at Goyla Dairy Picket.
“At about 4:30 pm, on checking a suspicious lady was found carrying a white bag in her hand was going from Dwarka side to Goyla Dairy. The staff intercepted her and on checking, some brown coloured material was found in a transparent polythene knot. On further strict interrogation, she told the cops that it was smack,” DCP Choudhary told www.thedelhicrown.com
The suspicious knots were checked on the file testing kit and it was found that it contained smack. Total 139 knots were recovered from the possession of the accused. All the contraband red-brownish material (smack) was kept in a zip-lock pouch.
On weighing, the smack weighed around 27.10 grams and was seized vide a Seizure Memo by ASI Ashok Kumar, added the local DCP.
