A lady of Sansi community arrested in Baba Haridas Nagar for selling illicit liquor
Arrest done in Indira Market area
New Delhi, Nov. 21 (Delhi Crown): The Baba Haridas Nagar police arrested a lady identified as Munni, a resident of Indira Market area, for selling illicit liquor.
Around 100 Quarters of illicit liquor were recovered from her possession.
According to the local SHO, on Sunday (Nov. 21) Head Constable Kuldeep, Constable Pradeep and Lady Constable Pooja were on regular patrolling duty in Indira Market.
During patrolling they reached in front of a house in Indira Market where they noticed that one woman in front of her house was selling illicit liquor in a plastic bag.
On checking the plastic bag illicit Liquor with a tag mentioning “for sale in Haryana only” was recovered from the lady’s possession. The lady arrested belongs to the Sansi community, infamous for selling illicit liquor, and is not having previous involvement, added the local SHO.
