Says successful vaccination a result of Modi’s farsightedness

New Delhi, Dec. 26 (Delhi Crown): The decision of vaccination for children in the age group of 15-18 years is yet another commendable step towards victory against Covid-19 pandemic, said Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta on Sunday.

After listening to Prime Minister Narender Modi’s programme “Mann Ki Baat”, Gupta Delhiites to beware of any rumour mongering in coming year and be on alert and follow safety protocol in view of new variant Omicron.

He said that the decision to give Booster Dose to health workers and frontline workers as a precautionary step was a laudable move by PM Modi.

“If cent percent dose of Corona vaccine has been given to all eligible persons in Delhi, it has been possible because of farsightedness of PM Modi,” said the Delhi BJP chief on the occasion.

The Vaccination drive began in India in January this year. PM Modi had promised the countrymen that adults, those aged above 18 years, will be administered the vaccines free of cost.

On Saturday night, PM Modi had announced that a vaccination drive would begin on Jan. 3 that will include children aged between 15 and 18 years. He also announced that the Health Workers, Frontline Workers and those aged above 60 years will also be given the Booster Dose with effect from Jan. 10.
