Snowfall in Kashmir to continue on Saturday: Met Dept.

New Delhi, Jan. 8 (Delhi Crown): Delhi and its surrounding areas have been receiving incessant rainfall since Friday night, leading to water-logging at several places.

Though Traffic on Delhi roads was comparatively less and most of the shops remained shut as two-day weekend lockdown began in the city amid sudden surge in Covid cases over the past few days.

Heavy rains in Delhi might be a result of weather disturbances in north India, as Kashmir has been receiving heavy snowfall since Friday. Continuous snowfall for over 24 hours in Kashmir led to delay or cancellation of flights from Srinagar Airport.
