Habitual criminal held in Delhi’s Najafgarh area
Accused a Bad Character at Chhawla Police Station
New Delhi, Feb. 27 (Delhi Crown): Vikram alias Monu (26), a bad character listed at South-West Delhi’s Chhawla Police Station, was nabbed from Najafgarh area, confirmed the Dwarka District Police on Sunday (Feb.27).
According to the local police, Vikram is a resident of Gali No. 11, Prem Nagar, Najafgarh.
Cops at Mohan Garden Police Station received a tip off regarding Vikram’s movement at Khaira Road in Najafgargh. Soon a trap was laid near the Gas Agency Road, Khaira, and the accused was held along with a stolen motorcycle and mobile phone.
On interrogation, the accused revealed that he has been actively involved in crime for past 5-6 years. He is also an active bad character (BC) of the Chhawla Police Station and involved in several crimes in the past.
He also disclosed that he had stolen a motorcycle to commit snatchings and also to fulfil his drugs needs as he is a drug-addict, and that he used to commit theft of motorcycles and snatchings.
Accused Vikram was found involved in as many as six criminal cases.
