Gurugram woman nabbed for filing false rape cases
She trapped 7 men, filed false rape cases at 7 police stations in 1 year
New Delhi, Jan. 1 (Delhi Crown): The Gurugram Police have arrested a 22-year-old woman for allegedly filing fake rape cases against men who she first befriended, “enjoyed” with them, and then forced them to marry her threatening else she will file a ‘rape’ case against them.
The accused has been identified as one Ayushi Bhatia, a resident of old Gurugram’s New Colony area. She claims to be a student of B.A. (English) student at Delhi University’s Atma Ram College.
According to the police, so far Ayushi has trapped as many seven men, and filed as many rape cases at seven different police stations in Gurugram over the past one year.
The woman is learnt to have confessed to committing the crime. She was produced in a city court earlier this week and sent to judicial custody.
Meanwhile, her mother and one maternal uncle who are said to be her accomplices, are still at large.
