Seven new District presidents ahead of MCD polls
New Delhi, Nov. 14 (Delhi Crown): The Congressparty on Sunday appointed additional members in the Executive Committee, Permanent Invitees and Special Invitees to the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC).
Besides, seven new District Presidents were also appointed, including Satbir Sharma who was appointed as president of Najafgarh district and Dharampal Chandela from Tilak Nagar district.
The appointments assume significance in the wake of the upcoming MCD polls, slated to be held early next year.
Among the appointments announced today are five Permanent Invitees to the Executive Committee and 15 Special Invitees.
All former MLAs are the ex-officio members of the Executive Committee, said a party statement.
