IPS officer allegedly mercilessly beat up two maid servants

New Delhi, Feb. 9 (Delhi Crown): An FIR was registered at South Delhi’s Fatehpur Beri Police Station against an IPS officer posted in Haryana for allegedly beating up two maid servants.

According to police sources, the case was subsequently transferred to the Haryana Police for further investigation and action against the IPS officer of Haryana Cadre.

The two maid servants were allegedly beaten up by the IPS officer after the former insisted for their salaries. Both have bruises on their face, neck, hands and waist, said a cop at the Fatehpuri Beri police station.

The cop however refused to reveal the name of the IPS officer. Both the maids were hired by the IPS officer from a Delhi-based placement agency.

After they were physically beaten up by the IPS officer, one of them managed to flee and reached her placement agency in Fatehpur Beri where the FIR was registered.
