Ex-Haryana minister Capt. Ajay Yadav is AICC’s OBC Chairman
New Delhi, Feb. 25 (Delhi Crown): Former minister in Haryana government Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav was on Friday (Feb.25) appointed as the chairman of the OBC Cell of the All-India Congress Committee (AICC).
According to an announcement by the party, Capt. Yadav will replace Tamradhwaj Sahu.
Capt. Yadav has to his credit of winning six times as MLA from Rewari Assembly seat. He, however, lost the last election (2019) he fought from the Gurugram Lok Sabha seat.
His son Chiranjiv Rao is now the sitting MLA from Rewari, and is married to Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Dhannu.
