Dwarka Police nab a mobile snatcher

Accused & 3 others had snatched a mobile phone on gunpoint on Nov. 6

New Delhi, Nov. 12 (Delhi Crown): With the arrest of one person, a resident of Gurugram, the Dwarka Police Station claimed to have solved a phone snatching case.

According to Dwarka SHO, one Shivam Kumar had lodged a complaint with the Dwarka Police on Nov. 6 that he was robbed of his mobile phone by four persons on gunpoint from near Dada Dev Mandir at around 8:00 p.m.

Subsequently, in a bid to identify the robbers the Dwarka Police checked the CCTVs installed in the vicinity.

Several police informers were also deployed with specific briefings. The efforts yielded and accused Rishi Pandit was arrested after a specific secret information was received in this regard.

Pandit is being interrogated and raids are being conducted to arrest his associates, said the Dwarka SHO.
