Two women & three men nabbed

New Delhi, Nov. 14 (Delhi Crown): With the arrest of two women the Dwarka Police claimed to have busted a sextortion racket in South-West Delhi, confirmed DCP (Dwarka) Shankar Choudhary.

The two accused and their three male accomplices were involved in the organised crime.

The two ladies were allegedly the mastermind behind the organised crime and were absconding for couple of years, each carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on their head.

The duo used to fix the target and then extorted money from him on the pretext of filing a rape case.

After intense investigation and technical surveillance, the Dwarka district police received an input Nov. 9 that the two absconding ladies were residing in Hastsal and Raj Nagar Palam Colony.

A team was constituted and both were nabbed after conducting raids at their respective premises.

Gang members played different roles to identify and catch the target in their net. Accused Pooja and her husband Sanju contacted the target. They provided his mobile numbers to the accused Roshni @ Nazma Begam, who became friends with the target, and then invited the targeted person to the residence of accused.

One of the accused named Joni provided accommodation for sex to the target.

One other gang member made physical relations with the target, even as other gang members entered the house. Accused Lalit played the role of a neighbour and a family man who ostensibly objected to the sex racket.

Finally, they all extorted money from the target on the pretext of booking him in a false rape case.
