Delhi’s Mohalla Clinic doc accused of sexually assaulting a girl
Doc nabbed under POCSO Act for assaulting the 12-year-old
New Delhi, Nov. 26 (Delhi Crown): A doctor posted at a Mohall Clinic has been booked for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl who had visited the Clinic on Wednesday to get some medicines.
The Mohalla Clinic is located in Karala’s Shiv Vihar area. Confirming the incident, Rohini DCP Pranav Tayal said that the girl’s medical was done which confirmed the sexual assault.
The doctor has been booked under the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences), confirmed a local cop.
After the incident the girl returned home and narrated it to her family. Subsequently, the child’s family members and their neighbours reached the clinic with the victim girl.
Finally, a police case was registered against the accused doctor.
