Delhi schools, colleges, coaching centres to reopen from Feb 7
Gyms, Swimming Pools also allowed to reopen
New Delhi, Feb. 4 (Delhi Crown): School, colleges, coaching centres and all other educational institutions have been allowed to reopen in Delhi.
It has been made mandatory for all teachers to be fully vaccinated before joining their place of work on Monday.
At a meeting of the DDMA on Friday, the Delhi government decided to allow reopening of all schools from Feb. 7 (Monday), but only for students of Classes 9th to 12th.
“All schools (class 9 onwards), colleges, institutes, universities, coaching to reopen from 7th Feb. Nursery to class 8 from 14th Feb. Higher education to be completely in physical mode,” tweeted Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
It was also decided to open all offices with 100% capacity. “All gyms, spa and swimming pools shall be allowed to open. Restaurants shall be allowed to remain open till 11:00 pm. Night curfew shall continue from 11:00 pm to 5:00 a.m..” Sisodia in another tweet. As many as seven decisions related to unlocking of Delhi were taken at the DDMA meeting, said Sisodia. “We will unlock step by step,” added the Dy. CM.
