Delhi Police’s Special Cell nabs 2 suspects in Nisha Dahiya murder case
The duo nabbed from Dwarka area of South-West Delhi
New Delhi, Nov. 12 (Delhi Crown): A Delhi Police Special Cell team led by Inspector Sandeep Yadav nabbed two suspects for allegedly murdering wrestler Nisha Dahiya and her brother on Wednesday evening in Sonepat.
The two were apprehended from South-West Delhi’s Dwarka area.
In a sensational case, the 22-year-old university-level female wrestler and her brother Suraj Dahiya (18) were allegedly murdered at the Sushil Kumar Wrestling Academy at Halalpur Village in Sonepat.
The Delhi Police identified the two accused as 25-year-old wrestling coach Pawan Barak and his associate Sachin Dahiya (23).
One licensed revolver has been recovered from Barak’s possession. Sachin Dahiya was previously arrested in two cases of the Arms Act in Haryana, said Deputy Police Commissioner (Special Cell) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.
DCP Yadav added – “The two men were wanted in the double murder case registered at the Kharkhoda police station in Haryana’s Sonepat.”
