Delhi Police team led by a lady cop nabs habitual criminal in Dwarka area

New Delhi, May 1 (Delhi Crown): A Delhi Police team led by Sub-Inspector (S-I) Jyoti Yadav successfully nabbed a habitual criminal involved in various heinous crimes in Delhi’s Dwarka area, said the Dwarka Police on Sunday (May 1).

S-I Jyoti is presently posted as In-charge of the police post at Dwarka Courts.

The habitual criminal was identified as Vishal alias Golu (24), a resident of Mahabir Enclave Part-III, Dabri. He was previously involved in as many as 15 cases of snatching/robberies/motor-vehicle thefts etc.

Vishal is said to be a drug addict and consumes drugs approximately worth Rs. 2000 per day. In order to fulfil his drugs needs, he commits crime on a daily basis. He was released from jail in March 2022.

He was first arrested in 2017 in a motor-vehicle theft case. After being released from the jail, he again took to committing snatching/robbery/burglaries along with his associates.

Three Gold chains, two stolen motor-cycles and two mobiles were recovered from his possession.

The desperate criminal was on the way to commit a crime when he was nabbed by the police team under the Dwarka South police station.
