Delhi Police ask residents to keep a card containing personal details in pocket

Names it “Emergency Pocket Card”

New Delhi, Nov. 28 (Delhi Crown): In a new initiative, the Delhi Police have urged the Delhites to make a card containing personal details like name, address, blood group, year of birth, and emergency contact number.

The police also shared the format of the card on its official twitter handle on Sunday.

The police asked all residents in Delhi to keep this card in their pocket while leaving the house, and also keep the same in the children’s pocket.

The aim of the initiative is to identify a person in case of an accident, or to send the person lost to his/her house.
