Case solved by Bindapur P.S. under “Operation Milap”

New Delhi, Nov. 10 (Delhi Crown):  The Delhi Police can give itself a pat on the back for helping a distressed family locate their four-year-old infant within one hour of him being reported missing.

According to sources at the Bindapur police station, a complaint was received from the family on Tuesday about their missing child.

The Police Control Room (PCR) entrusted the task of finding the missing child to Sub-Inspector Dharamveer. The boy, who was identified as Dev Singh S/o Shiv Kumar, went missing after being dropped off at his school.

Duty officers of different police stations were alerted about the missing child and an announcement was made in the area. After an extensive search for an hour, the child was found in the Bindapur area of West Delhi sitting and crying on the roadside.

The relieved family stays in a house located in Bharat Vihar, Rajapuri in West Delhi. The child was handed over to his father under the “Operation Milap” Scheme of the Delhi Police, which aims to unite missing children with their parents.
