Notifies new nomenclature
New Delhi, Jan. 24 (Delhi Crown): The Delhi government has presented the pharmacist health workers with a new year gift by upgrading their nomenclature, thus bringing a wave of joy among the pharmacist community.
As per the upgraded nomenclature, now a pharmacist’s joining grade pay will be at Rs 2800, and will be promoted to the rank of a Senior Pharmacist after 2 years of service, Pharmacy Officer after 12 years of service, and Senior Pharmacy Officer after 22 years of qualifying service.
Delhi’s Pharmacist Employee’s Association (PEA) has constantly been pursuing hard from 2017 to get the CGHS nomenclature implemented in Delhi.
Pending their long standing demand, the pharmacists had staged agitations and also went on one-day strike at Delhi secretariat in 2018.
