Her ex-manager Pawan Chawla had alleged she fled a false case

New Delhi, Jan. 3 (Delhi Crown): A Dwarka Court on Monday allowed the Delhi Police to investigate the allegation of false complaint filed by Haryanavi dancer Sapna Chaudhary against her former manager Pawan Chawla.

The court ordered an investigation against the controversial singer and stage-performer for “giving false information to police”, and for allegedly filing a false complaint against her former manager Pawan Chawla.

Both, Sapna and Pawan Chawla had filed counter complaints against each other, with the singer claiming to the police that Chawla had “forced her to sign on blank papers”.

After investigation the local police found that Pawan Chawla was not in the same city as the singer on the day the alleged incident took place.

Subsequently, the police moved the court under section 182 IPC seeking permission to register a case against Sapna Chaudhary.

While giving a go ahead to the police, the court said that any arrest (of Sapna Chaudhary) will require a court warrant.

Over her dancing career spanning over a decade, Sapna Chaudhary has courted several controversies. Once she had consumed a lot many sleeping pills alleging harassment against some.

On many occasions, Sapna has been accused of cancelling her stage shows alleging “mismanagement” on the part of the organisers.
