Delhi BJP protests outside Kejriwal’s residence
MP Ramesh Bidhuri exposes Delhi govt’s 7 years of failures
New Delhi, Dec. 27 (Delhi Crown): The Delhi BJP carried out a protest outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, in a bid to “expose” his Government’s failures over the past seven years.
Leading the protest, BJP MP from South Delhi Ramesh Bidhuri said – “In 7 years Kejriwal only made lofty promises but no work on ground. Delhiites are even today facing acute drinking water shortage.”
Bidhuri said that Kejriwal had not kept any portfolio with himself because “if anyone dies the blame would come on the concerned minister who will be removed”.
He alleged that the security guards being deployed on Delhi Jal Board plants are done through certain favoured contractors at Rs 38,000 payment, while the guards actually only gets Rs 23-24,000.
The MP said Kejriwal used to say he would give tap water, eliminate tanker mafia, “but fact is now three times more tankers are there being given to this mafia which gives handsome commission to the AAP”.
At least 70 per cent Delhiites are drinking water from tanker-tube well, he added.
