Dr Randeep Guleria to complete his tenure in March 2022
New Delhi, Nov. 30 (Delhi Crown): Delhi-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is looking for a new Director as the present incumbent Dr Randeep Guleria is going to complete his tenure in March 2022.
The prestigious medical institute has already published advertisements in this regard.
Among the educational qualifications required are a high post-graduate degree in medical, surgery, public health, or their branches, teaching and research experience of not less than 10 years, 25 years standing in the profession, and extensive practical and administrative experience in medical relief, medical research etc.
The upper limit prescribed is 62 years, while salary would be Rs 225,000 with a maximum of Rs 2,37,500 including all allowances.
The tenure of the post would be five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or 65 years of age.
According to an inside source, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, who hails from Gujarat, is expected prefer a person fitting the post from his home state.
