Delhi Crown Bureau
New Delhi: The purpose of writing this news report is to expose a person called Deepak Dwivedi, who throws his weight around as a Journalist in and around Delhi, and has the audacity of sharing dais with senior officials and ministers of the Indian Government and the Uttar Pradesh government. This all despite the fact that several FIRs have been lodged against him for duping people to the tune of more than one crore Rupees.
In order to pre-empt any move from him of filing any suit(s) against www.thedelhicrown.com , we collected all the required evidence/proof of allegations made against him, spoke to his victims, and relied upon existing media reports exposing his bungling all these years.
Two years ago Deepak Dwivedi celebrated the first anniversary of his new media-platform called “Blitz India”, a weekly tabloid. His audacity was to invite and share dais with senior people, including the then G-20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant, Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, BJP’s National Executive member and educationist Om Pathak, Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta, Supreme Court of India’s Advocate Saurabh Mishra, and Ranjana Prakash Desai, who is a former judge of the Supreme Court of India and the head of the Delimitation Commission of India. True to the knowledge of www.thedelhicrown.com , all the above-1mentioned personalities attended the event in total oblivion of Deepak Dwivedi’s financial bungling in the past, which included misusing the name of Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar in duping people of several lakhs of Rupees, earning money through liaising with ministers and officials of the Centre Government and the Uttar Pradesh government.
An FIR under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 406 was lodged against Deepak Dwivedi at Varanasi’s Lenka Police Station on May 17, 2020. According to it, Deepak Dwivedi was booked for framing false documents, Fraud, Forgery etc. while acting the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Dainik Bhaskar’s Uttar Pradesh edition.
The said FIR was filed by one Dr. Varun Upadhyay, a resident of Varanasi, after which Deepak Dwivedi was declared an absconder. According to a report by www.bhadas4media.com , raids were carried out at Deepak Dwivedi’s houses in Noida and Hardoi, and offices in Varanasi etc., but he remained at large.
“Deepak Dwivedi managed to get bail in the said case, but police and investigations against him are still on. He duped me of over Rs. 90 lakhs. He told me that he will manage Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate Dainik Bhaskar’s Varanasi edition since Varanasi is Modi’s parliamentary constituency. He made various other tall claims and made me raise Rs. 90 lakhs from the city’s who’s who, and deposit with him as a security amount. Barely a few months later all his tall claims fell flat,” Dr. Upadhyay told www.thedelhicrown.com over phone from Varanasi.
www.thedelhicrown.com also spoke to the widow of one Raj Kumar Vij, a Moradabad-based journalist working with Hindi daily Amar Ujala who died sometime back in a road accident.
“Deepak Dwivedi duped my late husband to the tune Rs 20 lakhs a few years ago. He told my husband that he will allow him to collect advertisements for his newspaper Dainik Bhaskar, but would require Rs. 20 lakhs as a security amount. My husband gave all his savings which we had kept for our daughter’s wedding. The amount was nearly Rs. 20 lakhs. Till date Deepak Dwivedi hasn’t repaid us even a single penny.”
According to her, in a similar fashion Deepak Dwivedi “cheated and duped” one family in Badaun town of Uttar Pradesh too.
(www.thedelhicrown.com shall continue its tirade of exposing Deepak Dwivedi. We are collecting more facts and material related to Deepak Dwivedi’s frauds and will carry a series of news-reports to expose him.)
