New Delhi, Dec. 16 (Delhi Crown): The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021’s Paper-2 was cancelled on Thursday across the country due to a technical glitch, a Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) spokesperson confirmed.

The Paper 2 was scheduled to be held today from 2:30 – 5:00 pm.

“TCS iON”, the agency which was hired by CBSE to conduct the exam, said in a statement – “On day one of the examination, unexpected technical issues impacted operations in certain venues, in the first shift. We will shortly announce the revised dates for the candidates affected by the rescheduling of CTET shifts of 16 and 17 December, 2021.”

After the exam was cancelled, the agitated candidates who had come to appear for the same shouted slogans against the CBSE for failing to conduct the exam. Most of the candidates had come from far off places.
