Covid awareness campaign in Najafgarh, Dwarka
Nukkad Nataks played at prominent spots
New Delhi, Jan. 17 (Delhi Crown): Amid rising Covid cases in Delhi, particularly of the Omicron variant, an awareness campaign “Chetna” has been launched in the Dwarka district in a bid to educate the people about how to take care amid the ongoing third pandemic wave.
The awareness campaign was initiated with the help of “Nukkad Nataks” on Monday.
Ayurvedic Kada (Immunity booster) was served to general public, masks were distributed to needy persons, and the general public was briefed by police officials to follow the covid guidelines of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).
Such “Nukkad Nataks” were played at prominent spots, including Dabri’s Sabzi Mandi, Uttam Nagar Bus Terminal, Najafgarh’s Som Bazar Chowk, Najafgarh’s Anaj Mandi, and Vegas Mall in Sec. 14, Dwarka.
The initiative was jointly undertaken by the Dwarka District Police and the non-governmental organisation “Sewa Bharti”.
