Congress attaches Indora with Uttarakhand In-charge Devendra Yadav
Move comes after spat between Harish Rawat & Yadav
New Delhi, Dec. 25 (Delhi Crown): The Congress party on Saturday attached AICC Secretary Kuldeep Indora with party’s Incharge of Uttarakhand Devendra Yadav till the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state.
The move comes in the aftermath of the open spat between former Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat and AICC Secretary In-charge of Uttarakhand Devendra Yadav.
Rawat and his camp had alleged that Yadav ensured that all posters and banners of Rawat were removed ahead of Dec. 16 public rally of Rahul Gandhi in Dehradun.
73-year-old Rawat has been trying his best to be projected as his party’s chief ministerial candidate ahead of Uttarakhand Assembly polls, scheduled for early next year, against party’s traditional stand of not naming a CM candidate ahead of any Assembly election.
Following the removal of his posters and banners, Rawat had said that his hands had been tied, even his close aides hurled allegations against Yadav for “selling party tickets” ahead of Assembly polls.
