Last date of submitting forms also extended to May 9

New Delhi, March 15 (Delhi Crown): The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for this year has been postponed to June 19, from May 8, announced the Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) on Tuesday.

The Executive Committee took the decision at its meeting on March 14.

The decision was taken as Class XII students, who are too eligible to appear in the exam, are scheduled to write their Board exams starting April 26. The Board exams are supposed to end on June 15.

CLAT will now be conducted on June 19 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes, announced the Executive Committee.

Earlier, the deadline to apply for the exam was March 31 and the exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 8.
