5 persons trapped after a house collapsed in Delhi’s Satya Niketan area
New Delhi, April 25 (Delhi Crown): As many as five labourers are feared to be trapped under the debris of a house which collapsed in South Delhi’s Satya Niketan area on Monday, confirmed a senior official at the Delhi Fire Services (DFS).
The house was under renovation/repairs when it suddenly collapsed.
“A house collapse call was received at 13:24 hours at Satya Niketan building No.-173, Delhi. Total six fire-tenders have been rushed to the site,” said DFS chief Atul Garg.
According to him, five labourers have been trapped in the collapse. “Efforts are being made to rescue them,” he added.
