Brings AAP’s state president, others into the party fold

New Delhi, April 9 (Delhi Crown): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suffered a major setback in Himachal Pradesh even before it could form a full-fledged organisation in the state, when there senior AAP leaders, including the state president, joined the BJP.

Announcing the joining of AAP state president Anoop Kesari, Organisation Secretary Satish Thakur and president of Una unit Iqbal Singh, senior BJP leader from Himachal Pradesh and union minister Anurag Thakur tweeted that the people of hills “can’t be carried away” by Arvind Kejriwal.

The joining of the three AAP leaders into the party was done in the presence of BJP national president J.P. Nadda. Both, Thakur and Nadda hail from Himachal Pradesh.

Only three days ago, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann had toured the hilly state, and organised a mammoth road show in Mandi district attracting huge crowds.
