All residents of Jhajjar district in Haryana

New Delhi, Nov. 23 (Delhi Crown): With the arrest of three persons, the Dwarka district Police on Tuesday claimed to have solved a few cases of theft and snatching in the area that occurred over the past few days.

The three habitual offenders have been identified as Manesh (27), Vijay alias Ashu (21) and Sonu (19), all residents of Jhajjar district in Haryana.

The three were found to be involved in several cases of snatching/theft in the past in Najafgarh and Bahadurgarh areas.

All the stolen items were said to have been recovered from their possession.

One complainant Mukesh Kumar Singh (51), a resident of Gupta Market, alleged that on Nov 22 (Monday) at around 11:00 p.m., he was walking in the street, when three persons asked him about Gupta Market.

During their interaction one of them snatched his gold chain with locket, while another one took Rs. 3000 from his pocket. Thereafter, all the three fled from the spot.

Thereafter, the police scanned CCTVs installed in the area and took the help of their informers.

“Soon we zeroed in on the three accused and raided their premises. We succeeded in arresting Mahesh. Soon the whereabouts of the rest two were known and they were nabbed too,” said a cop.

The team that nabbed the accused comprised of Sub-Inspector Arvind, Head Constable Kuldeep and Head Constable Deepak. under the leadership of SHO of Baba Haridas Nagar police station and overall supervision of ACP, Najafgarh.
