All private offices shut in Delhi amid Covid surge
Only those engaged in essential services allowed to open
New Delhi, Jan. 11 (Delhi Crown): All private offices in Delhi, except those in exempted category, have been shut for the time being and directed to work from home, amid the sudden surge in Covid cases. In a set of fresh guidelines issued on Tuesday, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) said that those found violating the instructions shall be prosecuted against as per the provisions of relevant sections of the DDMA.
Only yesterday the DDMA had decided to shut the dining areas in all restaurants & bars, allowing only takeaways.
